matched.io closes its first pre-seed financing round after 2 years of bootstrapping. On board are the Next Commerce Accellerator (NCA), Business Angels (among others, Lucas von Fürstenberg) as well as the Hamburger Innovationsstarter Fonds.
With the fresh money, matched.io is getting closer to its goal of creating a holistic ecosystem for developers. In addition to the goal of making it even easier to bring companies and developers together, stack-stream.com is on the roadmap – the Twitch for developers. "We want to get into the everyday life of developers and help them learn new things even more easily, multiply themselves and drive innovation," describes Cagdas Sayin, founder and CEO of matched.io.
matched.io is the first job platform for software developers that breaks down personal goals, requirements and technical details to the essentials. Within 3 seconds, companies and developers are brought together - a contract can be signed within a week.
Developers are only presented with jobs that match their goals and preferences based on the information they provide. With each decision, the results improve. To do this, techies don't have to talk to a third party, but are in direct contact with companies. For companies, the hiring process becomes fast and objective: matches in seconds, real-time exchanges, avoidance of wrong decisions and reduction of discrimination. matched.io currently counts more than 3000 users in German-speaking countries and is growing daily.
With stack-stream.com, matched.io is expanding its product to include a live video streaming community - the Twitch for developers. A few weeks ago, the startup launched the beta of the interactive platform. With stackstream, developers have the opportunity to exchange ideas in live rooms, learn from each other and share their experience with others. It's like Twitch, Youtube, Discord, Stackoverflow and Github having a child.
While matched.io jobs focuses on the German-speaking region, stackstream will be available for the international b2c and b2b market.
